The Cuesta College Club Fair took place in the 5400 Building on Tuesday. Students were greeted by Student Representative Surry McNutt and Program Coordinator Gabby Flores. Drinks and food were provided for all attendees, and the interests represented ranged from soccer to chess to politics to robotics. “There are already so many great clubs here at Cuesta that the students just do not know about,” Flores said. “We hope to host more of these events soon.”
The STEM Club booth was hosted by club members Lindsay Hiraoka (right) and Corey Rightmyer (left) on Feb.10. The club meets every other Friday at 12:30 p.m., and all students are welcome. “It’s a great intro to STEM,” Hiaoka said. Students who attend will be introduced to job and internship opportunities, hands-on activities and there is free food provided at every meeting.
