Transfer season is here, and Cuesta is helping facilitate with a day of free information of the college of your choice—and carbohydrates.
On Monday, October 31, University Transfer Day will be held in room 5401 on the San Luis Obispo campus.
For all students looking to transfer (or gain knowledge about transferring) this coming academic year—or eat the free pasta offered to the first 300 students that arrive—there will be a swath of college reps doling out information at 10:30 p.m.–1 p.m. in room 5401, by the cafeteria.
There will even be music by Cuesta jazz combos.
Attending University include: Antioch University, Santa Barbara; Brandman University; Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo; California Baptist University; Colorado State University; CSU Chico; CSU Fresno; CSU Northridge; CSU Sacramento; San Francisco Art Institute; Sonoma State University; UC Berkeley; UC Davis; UC San Diego; UC Santa Barbara; University of Montana; University of Redlands; University of San Francisco
“[Students] get a better idea of the college they’re interested in,†said Ariana Jimenez, who works a Cuesta’s transfer center.
If you’re wondering about student life at a desired college or have questions regarding transfer requirements, University Transfer Day is for you, according to Jimenez.
College and carbohydrates, University Transfer Day has both to offer. Be one of the first 300 students to show up if you want the second part of that.
