PHOTOS: Fifth Annual Sheep Shearing Shindig shows off SLO agricultural community

A tractor carrying a wagon full of people makes its rounds around the event as an alternative mode of transportation for those walking to and from the entrance.

The Fifth Annual Sheep Shearing Shindig and Agricultural Festival invited folks to an admission-free, family-oriented afternoon of farm-related activities, complemented by live music from Joy Palloi and local food, beer & wine from various vendors. This year’s shindig took place on May 9, 2026. The main event was the live sheep shearing demonstration by Brittany App.
