On Thursday, May 7, Cuesta College will begin presenting its production of “Spring Awakening” at the Cuesta Performing Arts Center Experimental Theater.
The premiere will be one of eight showtimes available for the community to experience the production. Tickets will also be available for Friday and Saturday showtimes. A Sunday showtime will also be available.
The second week of showtimes will feature the final evening showing on May 14 and afternoon showtimes on May 15, 16 and 17. Be advised, the show is 16+ and covers themes of sexual maturity and exploration. Specific content warnings for sensitive content in the play, such as suicide or abortion, are available on the ticket site. The audience should also expect flashing strobe lights and haze effects within the production’s special effects
