Cuesta College’s North Campus has recently changed the hours of its food pantry. The new hours will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays; 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; and 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Fridays. It is closed on weekends. The North County pantry is located in room N1005 in the lounge.
Items are free to all Cuesta students who bring their student ID or 900 ID number. Each student will receive a punch card containing eight weekly points. Points are determined by the student’s food choices, such as 3-, 2- and 1-point items. Items such as Ramen noodles cost 1 point; pasta sauce and a can of chicken use three points. Once a student has reached the eight-point weekly limit, they can choose additional meals the following week.
Students who have questions can visit findfood.org or call 805-238-4664.
