Every Wednesday, Cuesta College Student Life and Leadership hosts “Cougar Social Hour,” an event for all Cuesta students. During the event, students will have access to multiple resources, such as free meals, games and social opportunities. Cuesta students also receive flyers for upcoming events.
“I think it’s a great event. Students are having a good turnout right now, and we would love to see more students ask questions at our Cougar Social Hours,” Program Coordinator Gabby Flores said. “With food, activities, and resources, it is a great opportunity for them to build community. We hope that Student Life and Leadership is doing that. If they’re ever wondering where to enjoy some time with other students, this is it.”
Students walk through Cougar Social Hour outside the 5300 Building on Feb. 4. The event can connect groups of students with free time between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays.
