What are the students of Cuesta College’s purposes and overall goals? The majority of Cuesta College students, at the time of registration, express that they are here to transfer to a four-year college or university and achieve an AA or AS degree. Outcome goals vary: 37% of students aim to transfer, 38.8% aim for a degree, and 25.2% aim for other purposes. 

These could be a variety of other educational and personal reasons, such as earning a certificate, developing new skills, or preparing for the job market. There is also a large number of students undecided on a goal, and some who decided not to answer.
