Hundreds of San Luis Obispo High School students skipped class or walked out to protest President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown and ICE on Friday. They did so in support of the nationwide boycott of no school, no work and no shopping. After marching through downtown SLO, dozens of students congregated on all four corners of Higuera Street and Madonna Road in San Luis Obispo. They waved signs, flags and even wore costumes for several hours to demonstrate together peacefully.
